PRIMER Is Taking the Day Off

Hey, guys. Thanks for being here.

As I mentioned Friday, I’m nearing the finish line on a feature story I’ve been working on for the last month or so, and I’ll need to dedicate most of my life this week toward getting it done. So, no newsletter today, and probably tomorrow. I hope to be back Wednesday; fingers crossed, and I’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, here is my column for this week, which you can also check out at my other newsletter site, Informed Dissent. It’s the first of two parts—and a longer version of a theme I started chipping away at here on Friday.
